Cornelius Showell

A leader in the Black Apostolic movement, where he formerly served as Presiding Bishop of the International Bible Way Organization and is the pastor of the historic First Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ, International in Baltimore, Maryland. The scholar of African American history was one of the founding Executive Directors of the Maryland Commission on Negro History and Culture. He taught African American studies at Morgan State University and was instrumental in establishing AFRAM, Baltimore’s highly acclaimed African American Heritage Festival.
