The esteemed Bible scholar, theologian, and Church person spent sixteen years as a missionary in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Chile, where he established and headed biblical training programs. Returning to the United, he taught at Lee College, then established and headed a Spanish-speaking ministerial training school in Texas. Following that, he served as Academic Dean of the Church of God School of Theology for twelve years, while he continued teaching until he retired in 2001. The long-time Society for Pentecostal Studies member became Executive Secretary in 1972 and President in 1975.
